Photo: Ryan McFarlandCLADE takes part in many articulated activities of mobilisation and political advocacy at regional and global levels. In all these spaces, the Campaign works to strengthen participatory democracy and so that civil society can effectively contribute to decision-making processes on educational policies, from a human rights point of view.

Currently, CLADE is a member of both GCE (Global Campaign for Education) and ICAE (International Council for Adult Education); we also integrate the 2021 Goals Advisory Panel and participate in the International Council of the World Education Forum. The Latin-American Campaign has formal relations with the UNESCO, takes part in the Collective Consultation of NGOs of Education for All (CCNGO/EPT) and is actively present in international meetings to debate global and regional strategies towards the accomplishment of the right to education, being equally involved in projects to reinforce South-South cooperation with African and Asian networks. CLADE is also taking action in the civil society debates preparing for the Rio+20 Conference.
